How the Club Insure team reacted quickly to save our customer thousands.
We’ve been insuring Kibblesworth Working Men’s Club for many years. An incident at the club resulted in the loss of equipment, cash and material damage.
Initially the insurer stated that only the cash loss evidenced by a book log seen on-site could be claimed for. With a £500 excess deducted, the total payout was due to be significantly less than the overall losses incurred.
Our expert claims team studied the Policy Wording meticulously and argued that the claim for cash loss could be covered under a separate section of the policy, as the loss was discovered and reported within seven days. The other losses could also be claimed for, meaning nearly all of the losses were covered up to the £2,500 policy limit.
If it hadn’t been for the quick thinking and expert knowledge of our team, our customer would have been over £2,000 out of pocket. A fantastic result, and another satisfied client.
