It’s nearly time for the Club Mirror Hospitality Social Media Awards!

We’re so excited for the events of this week, we almost don’t know what to do with ourselves.

Tomorrow, we’re heading down to the HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT for the Hospitality Social Media Awards where we’re sponsoring an award!

We’re supporting the ‘Sports Club of the Year’ award, where the winner will is recognised for the way they use social media to raise awareness for their club.

We don’t want to give too much away so we’re not going into the nominees on here. All we can say is good luck to all those involved.

What are the Hospitality Social Media Awards?

The Social Media Awards are a chance for the industry to celebrate the hard work and dedication that clubs have shown to embrace their community via digital platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

The awards are split into different categories so that clubs are competing against their peers. In the past, categories have included ‘Rugby Club of the Year’ and ‘Restaurant Chain of the Year’.

Previous winners have ranged from local community pubs such The Tollemarche Arms to professional clubs like Cardiff City.

The House of Commons

The awards take place on Thursday (27th June) at the House of Commons, overlooking the River Thames. The awards are invitation only, and there’s a great chance for those going to network with sponsors and other finalists.

Club Insure are heading to the awards!

We’re delighted to say that as sponsors, we’ll be attending the awards and we’re looking forward to seeing lots of new and familiar faces. There will be two members of the Club Insure team: Jason Cook and Paul Fahy.

Make sure that you say hello to them both!

If you’d like to know any more about the awards, or you’d like advice from our marketing team on how you can best utilise social media, get in touch today!
