How to get Cricket Club Funding and Grants

A range of options are out there for cricket clubs struggling through the pandemic:

Return to Cricket Grant Scheme

The scheme aims to support affiliated Cricket Clubs during the COVID-19 crisis by providing funding to help cover any shortfall in the preparation, essential day-to-day running and maintenance costs of facilities following the resumption of recreational cricket.

Club Insure Refer and Reward Scheme

Between 1st January 2021 and 31st March 2021, Club Insure are entering every new cricket club client into a competition where they each have the chance to win a £250 club grant. Runners up will receive a £100 club grant which they can choose to spend on cricket equipment or improving their cabbage patch.

Return to Play: Community Asset Fund

Capital awards of between £10,001 and £50,000 will help clubs and community groups adapt and open important places and spaces, so that sport and physical activity can happen during the pandemic.

National Lottery Small Grants Fund

National Lottery funding can help you to make a difference in your community. They offer funding from £300 to £10,000 to support what matters to people and communities.
And with the COVID-19 pandemic still with us, the national lottery continues to support people and communities most adversely impacted by COVID-19.

EWCT Interest Free Loan Scheme

The England and Wales Cricket Trust (EWCT) Interest Free Loan Scheme provides finance to clubs for capital projects to help them build and ensure a sustainable future.
